What’s new in Fellow 4.9: Ask Copilot Across All Your Meetings and Auto-Record Rules
Introducing more control over how Copilot joins your meetings and increased access to Meeting Insights
Fellow 4.9 is here! With the launch of our newest feature set, we continue to enhance our AI Meeting Copilot to make your meetings more productive by providing the most accurate meeting notes so you can stay more present. It also provides human-level recaps that organize your meetings into chapters so every outcome, decision, and action item can be easily consumed. You can even Ask Copilot questions like “What should I follow up on from my last meeting?” so relevant insights are readily accessible.
Today we’re highlighting two upgrades to Copilot with new ways to get insights across all of your meetings, and more control over what meetings Copilot can and cannot automatically join.
Ask Copilot across all meetings
Until now, Copilot has been available to search and gather insights from a single meeting. We’re delighted to let you know that Copilot can now surface critical information from all of your meetings at once so you can move faster and smarter.
An example of how Ask Copilot can help you is if you have just returned from vacation. Ask Copilot can look at every meeting that you would have attended while you were away and surface the most important information by asking, “What happened in my meetings last week?” Or, if you had a busy meeting week, you can ask Copilot “What decisions were made in my meetings this week?” to make sure that you don’t miss anything that you need to follow up on or action.
You can access Ask Copilot in the left-hand control panel. You can prompt it with the insights you’re looking to gather and Copilot will go through all of your meetings to get what you need. Copilot also makes it clear which meetings it’s gathering insights from, so you’ll know which meetings to dig further into.

New auto record rules
You can now set Copilot auto-record and restriction rules across your workspace so it only joins the meetings you select. You can refine these rules for specific users, giving you control over which meetings Copilot joins. And there is no limit on how many rules or restrictions you can set up.
When setting workspace rules, you’re able to select whether Copilot can or cannot auto-record meetings with internal or external attendees. For example, if you’re using Fellow to record customer meetings you can set external attendees as an auto-record rule.
You can also choose when Copilot automatically joins meetings based on the invitee count. In the rules, you can set invitees to be “more than,” “less than,” in between or to be any number of invitees.
Meetings can also be auto-recorded or restricted by keywords (such as a recurring meeting like a “Town Hall”), or by attendee emails and domains.
These rules and restrictions can be set differently for teams or individuals. Each leader can even choose to have the same rules apply to them and their direct reports, so that individual teams can use Copilot how they need to.
