What’s inside 360-Degree Feedback Meeting Template:

1 Step 1-Set the Stage

Remind people of the values of the team or company. Tell them everyone is expected to be open and fair, and focus only on actual behaviors (things that happened) and their effects (on other people’s work or their emotions).

2 Step 2 — Start as the Leader

As a manager or team leader, volunteer to be the first one to be evaluated. This shows courage and respect. And it helps to loosen up the atmosphere, so that people know what to expect (and how to behave) when it’s their turn to receive feedback.

3 Step 3 — Ask for Everyone’s First Compliment

Cherish the moment and bask in your glory. 😉

4 Step 4 — Ask for Everyone’s Improvement Suggestion

Allow participants to comment on each other because not everyone may agree with certain suggestions. People have different perspectives, and that’s fine. And often, it’s enough just to say, “Thank you.”

5 Step 5 — Ask for Everyone’s Second Compliment

Finish the session as a leader by receiving everyone’s remaining compliments. This may soften the impact that some of the improvement suggestions have had on you.

6 Step 6 — Repeat for Every Participant

Let participants volunteer to take the next turn. Try not to push anyone. Some will prefer to be the first, just to get it over with. Others prefer to be the last, so they can first watch and learn from others.

7 Step 7 — Thank Everyone

Finish the session as a leader by receiving everyone’s remaining compliments. This may soften the impact that some of the improvement suggestions have had on you.

8 Step 8 — Review the Meeting

Finish the session as a leader by receiving everyone’s remaining compliments. This may soften the impact that some of the improvement suggestions have had on you.

9 Step 9 — Give or Send Notes

Finish the session as a leader by receiving everyone’s remaining compliments. This may soften the impact that some of the improvement suggestions have had on you.
